Traffic Sources Based On Experience

There are a ton of different traffic sources out there you can run your affiliate marketing campaigns on and one of the easiest things you can do is completely overwhelm yourself by trying to run campaigns at all of them at the same time. I think it’s really important that you choose a traffic source, test a spread of campaigns on that traffic source, optimize your campaigns, and then scale until you hit a ceiling. If you simply setup campaigns on a bunch of different traffic sources all at once you are going to spread yourself too thin. So, what traffic sources do I suggest focusing on based on your experience as an affiliate marketer? I’ve broken down your possible experience level into four different levels. Those levels are Freshmen, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior. Here is an explanation of each level and one traffic source I suggest based on that level. Remember, […]

Running a PeerFly Offer with TONIC Zero Click Traffic

I have received a lot of questions about a traffic source I recently recommended so I thought it would be beneficial to do a quick guide and explain how to to run a PeerFly offer with TONIC’s zero click traffic. TONIC is a traffic marketplace (ad network) where you can buy zero click and pop traffic. I prefer to run the zero click domain traffic because it seems to convert better. It’s called zero click traffic because when someone goes to one of the domains in TONIC’s network, they are automatically redirected to the offer you are advertising. The visitor is not required to click an ad. So, let’s take a look at how you can setup a PeerFly offer directly linking to your affiliate link and start getting traffic and conversions from TONIC! The first step is creating a TONIC advertiser account. You can find their advertiser registration […]

Affiliate Marketing Traffic Sources I’ve Tried in 2018

I have spent 2018 focused on testing a few different traffic sources with my affiliate marketing campaigns and thought it might be fun to a post to explain what sources I’ve tried and how my campaigns performed. A majority of the traffic I have run this year has been with PPV traffic sources. This is mainly because my biggest source with my most profitable campaigns was with a PPV network so I scaled by trying new traffic sources in that same channel. We also have a ton of discussion around PPV in the PPV sub-forum on affLIFT which is driving me to test more of those traffic sources. With all that being said, my biggest traffic source in 2018 so far has been ZeroPark. ZeroPark I first reviewed ZeroPark on this blog in 2014. A lot has changed since that review, but one thing hasn’t, ZeroPark is fantastic. One […]

Goodbye 7Search and LeadImpact

This year, we have lost two traffic sources that anyone who has been doing affiliate marketing for a few years has probably at least tried out: 7Search and LeadImpact. Nearly 5 years ago, I published an article titled Traffic Sources Based On Experience and both 7Search and LeadImpact were recommended in it. Over the years, they have both been a great source of traffic for our affiliates at PeerFly and thousands of people have made tons of money using them. However, the tides change quickly in the affiliate marketing industry and those traffic sources were not able to keep up. 7Search is near and dear to my heart. I wrote my review of 7Search on November 16, 2011. I followed it up with a bunch of other articles about how to run and optimize campaigns using their traffic that have generated 563,558 page views and counting. LeadImpact has also had a […]

5 Affiliate Traffic Sources to Test in 2017

The Internet landscape is constantly evolving which means the best sources of traffic for affiliates is constantly changing too. Where can affiliates find good traffic in 2017? There are 5 specific traffic sources that I recommend affiliates test this year. These are all sources I have been running traffic with for the past few months and that I have had some success with. I will explain what types of affiliate offers I’ve been running and how affiliate friendly each source is. Let’s start with Bing Ads. Favorite Search Traffic Source for Affiliate Marketers – Bing Ads Bing Ads is not a new traffic source for affiliates. Bing has been trying to compete with Google for years. I do not think there is any doubt which company offers a better overall search experience, but there are still millions of people using Bing every single day. One thing that Bing definitely has going […]
