When they incorporated Mobility Designed in December of 2014, Liliana left her full-time job and began pitching investors. A 2016 video of the M+D Crutch went viral. May 21, 2019 3 min read Opinions expressed by Entrepreneur contributors are their own. A new study involving millions of medical records and analysis of patient outcomes has found that those who use marijuana have a better chance of surviving after being hospitalized with a heart attack. While researchers from the University of Colorado said further study is needed, they also wrote that they “would strongly suggest that marijuana use is associated with a significant decrease in in-hospital mortality” for those admitted with a heart attack. It’s yet another in a growing list of potential medical uses for cannabis that is being stymied, at least in the United States, by the continued illegal status of marijuana at the federal level and the lack of quality cannabis for research purposes. My August 2016 Monthly Income Report

Welcome to my August 2016 Monthly Income Report! Historically, August earnings take a dip for me, and I’ve heard the same from many other online businesses too, both large and small. This drop is most likely due to the summer season, where many people take a break from focusing primarily on work or building their business. SPI 228: Taking Care of Yourself as an Entrepreneur with Jeff McMahon

In my last episode, I asked fourteen of my favorite entrepreneurs what they wish they’d known before starting their own business. Today, I want to explore one of the biggest things I wish I’d known when starting out: how important it is to take care of myself. Here to help me illustrate just how important personal health and fitness can be is my own trainer, Jeff McMahon. We started working together while I was training for my first triathlon, and he’s been holding me accountable to my fitness goals ever since. It’s easy to let yourself off the hook as a busy entrepreneur. When you’re pouring every spare minute into growing your business, taking a break to visit the gym often feels counter-productive. What I’ve learned, however, is that the time […]
